The NCCO will

  • provide clinical evaluation and comprehensive weight-loss treatment for obese adults (including pregnant women), children and adolescents;
  • offer new education strategies and tactics that promote weight loss, risk factor reduction, and a healthier lifestyle; and
  • foster physical activity and healthy eating through primary-care settings.

Center for Lifestyle Medicine
The Center for Lifestyle Medicine was developed by Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation (NMFF) to serve patients.

Healthy for You, Healthy for 2Pregnancy Program
"Healthy for You, Healthy for 2" will focus on patient lifestyle management for overweight, pregnant women. NCCO faculty member, Alan M. Peaceman, MD, professor of obstetrics and gynecology, chief, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine will head the project.
